SL still hesitating-Blake

While claiming that the US government is not going to impose an economic sanction on Sri Lanka, US Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert O. Blake said that the Sri Lankan government was still hesitating to go ahead with an action plan.

In an interview with ETV channel Mr. Blake said "The government (Sri Lanka) was still hesitating to go ahead with a plan when I visited Sri Lanka three weeks ago when I visited Sri Lanka three weeks ago."

He also said that "It is important for Sri Lanka to implement recommendations of LLRC to reach the country’s full potential."
