S.Lanka Nov tourist arrivals fall 18.2 pct yr/yr

Sri Lanka’s tourists arrivals fell 18.2 percent in November from a year earlier, the Indian Ocean island nation’s tourism board said on Monday.

 

Arrivals in November fell to 36,901 and totalled 389,550 in the first 11 months of 2008, bringing the year-to-date total down by 10 percent from the same period a year earlier, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority said.
