image The Hindi ‘Ghajini’ starring Aamir Khan is creating records.

The Tamil version was a super hit and the Hindi version is also directed by AR Murugadoss. Staring Aamir Khan and Asin, the film is releasing tomorrow.

Even before the film has been released, there is a great deal of expectation. About 1200 prints have been made. This is the first time so many prints have been made for an Indian film. No other Indian film has been sold for 100 crores.

Before the film’s release, 300 special shows have been screened, a first time for a Hindi film. This special screening is the day before the film’s release. Many multiplexes have hiked the ticket fee by 30% but they have all been sold out.

Earlier releases of the year, ‘Dostana’ and ‘Singh is King’ made 75 lakhs and 50 lakhs through special shows. It’s said, ‘Ghajini’ shows could bring in a crore and create a record.
