Karunanidhi all set to become DMK chief for 10th term

karunanidhi Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi is all set to be elected as the DMK president for the tenth term at the party’s general council meeting here tomorrow.

His name was the only one proposed for the post in the nominations filed, which closed today.
Over 50 nominations have been filed on his behalf, party sources said.

His son M K Stalin will be elected as the party treasurer as his name is the only one proposed for the post. For Stalin, it is an elevation in the party set up.

Stalin is at present the deputy general secretary.

Another senior DMK leader K Anbazhagan is all set to be re-elected as general secretary for the eighth term.
