Raju Sundaram was originally slated to direct the film ‘Parattai engira azhagu sundaram’ starring Dhanush and Mira Jasmine. But the producer made Suresh Krishna to direct the film over a tiff with Raju Sundaram. It was also reported that he was removed from the film, as he does not know direction.
Raju became a director through Ajith starrer ‘Egan’. But it was not a success. It will be difficult for Raju Sundaram to get any more opportunity for direction. It will be a wasted time waiting for a producer. So, Raju Sundaram is focusing now on dance master’s profession.
Though he is not getting chances for direction, he is clever in explaining that. “Dance is my life. I became popular only through that. Dance alone made a director of me. Now I am only concentrating on dance. Only if I get a very good chance, I will direct a film” says Raju Sundaram.
But the truth is owing to the failure of ‘Egan’ he is not getting any chance.
