image After much expectation, ‘Naan Kadavul’ is to be finally released next week.

Bala is one of the bright stars in the field of direction. After the thought provoking ‘Pithamagan,’ where he showed his promise and prodigious talent, he gave his brains a rest. When some news about the Kashi swamis struck him, he came up instantly with a one liner for ‘Naan Kadavul.’ He slowly developed on that, all by himself, without taking on a room and being surrounded by a crew of assistant directors to advise him on finer points of the story.

After the script was ready, Ajith was the first hero who was told the story. Thenappan came forward to give financial backing but soon after the film’s pooja, there were differences of opinion between director and hero and Arya came in place of Ajith. Problems with producer also cropped up and production company changed. Hence, the film has been 3 years in the making.

The film was to be released on Jan 29 and it got postponed. Now all issues have been settled and the film will finally hit the screens on Feb 6. After taking 2 different climax scenes, Bala has finally chosen one. It’s said that could be of Arya eating human flesh.

Bala has all along maintained that the other hero of the film is Ilayaraja’s music and the Isaignani has fulfilled the expectations. Ilayaraja has taken a long time to compose the background music for this film.
