image To add pep to Simbu’s Casanova character, he is to act in the remake of ‘Sigappu Rojakkal.’

Kamal and Sridevi acted in the original ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’ directed by Bharatiraja. A combination of romance and thrills, the film won the hearts of the audience 25 years back. Even now the song “Ninaivo oru paravai” brings back nostalgic memories.

The story is about how illicit love affairs of women affect a young man. Would this character suit Simbu? He has already decided to go ahead with the re-make, but he has effected some changes in the story. There will be 4 heroines in the film.

One of them is Namitha. It’s said Simbu plans to cast Mandira Bedi, who acted with him in ‘Manmadhan’ and his new pal Sana Khan is supposed to be bugging him for a role in this film.

Simbu plans to meet with director Bharatiraja of the original ‘Sigappu Rojakkal’ for advice.
