image “If a film gets delayed, in the available time the errors in the film could be set right. My film ‘Vali’ was released 2 years after it was started. But it was a super hit. I am confident this film would be as big a hit,” says director/actor SJ Suryah.

Why the delay in releasing ‘Newtonin Moondram Vidhi’? Suryah informed us that the film will be released on May 1, just like ‘Vali’ was. He also imparted more information about the film.

“A big film is so called based on its successful run. Small directors produce a big hit and become big directors. ‘Subramaniapuram’ and ‘Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu’ have done so well. Like that, ‘Newtonin Moondram Vidhi’ will be a different kind of film.

Director Thai Muthu Selvan has evolved a thriller kind of film that starts at 10am and finished by 12. Only a song sequence remains to be shot. I put a condition on the director and acted with one costume and Gandhi style watch through the film.

I said I would come for hooting only if I was given those. I was so much into the character. I have been transformed into an action type hero. Following this, I am acting in another film. After that, I will direct and act in ‘Puli.’
