We all know that Ajith dons a dual get up in his forthcoming flick Asal. The means he will be seen with two heroines on screen. While the role of Sameera Reddy has been finalized, the decision on the second heroine was still under discussion, well, until recently.
Sources in Kollywood say that Shriya Saran was approached by director Gautham Menon when he was in charge of Asal and Sivaji Productions also paid her a token advance. However, when the project shifted hands to director Saran, Shriya’s role was chopped to a great extent that the lady opted out of it.
Ever since then, the Asal team had been scouting for a suitable leading lady.
