Both Surya and Hari have made successful police story films. To taste success again, they are coming together in the film ‘Singam’. K.E.Gnanavelraja’s Studio Green, which produced ‘Sillunu oru kaadal’, and ‘Paruthiveeran’ is making this film jointly with Big Picture.
‘Surya is acting as a police officer after ‘Kakka kakka’. Hari will be directing this exciting police story. Devi Prasad is composing music while Priyan will do cinematography. V.T.Vijayan will do editing, as K.Kadhir will look after art and P.H.Kumanan will be the joint director. Nikil will be doing the public relations.
Following Surya’s ‘Aadhavan’ directed by K.S.Ravikumar, the first schedule of the film would begin around Tirunelveli, Tuticorin, Ambasamudhram, Kutralam and Karaikudi. The second schedule will be done in Chennai, Hyderabad and Vizag. This is the third film for Surya-Hari combination after ‘Aaru’ and ‘Vel’.
