TNA parliamentarian Kanagasabai passes away

Pathmanathan Kanagasabai, Ampaarai district parliamentarian of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) passed away Thursday early morning around 4:00 a.m. after a brief illness in Mathurai in Tamilnadu while he was staying with his friend. He was 64, media sources reported quoting fellow parliamentarian B.Ariyanenthiran.

Mr.Pathmanathan was elected parliamentarian from the Ampaarai district in the general election held in 2004. Before entering politics he worked as the District Manager of the National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) in Ampaa’rai for several years.

Action has been taken to bring his body to Colombo Thursday morning from Mathurai, Ariyanenthiran told media in Colombo.
