Shruthi Haasan’s adventurous debut

image It is not often heard that a debutante heroine goes adventurous, though screen heroes are more often praised for their daredevil stunts! But, singer-turned-actress Shruthi Haasan (daughter of actor Kamal Haasan), who makes her Bollywood debut with director Soham Shah’s Imran Khan starrer Luck, says she likes to tread the path less-taken!

Recalling about her experiences while shooting Luck, Shruthi reportedly said that while doing a crucial scene in Africa, she was required to be tied by her hands to the front of a running train. Standing in scorching heat with her back to the train’s engine gave her blisters and boils. The heat was so extreme that the heel of her boots started melting. “It wasn’t the most comfortable situation, but it was fun,” she said.

However, the stunt changed her skin colour. “I have got a tan that’s turned me four shades darker, and I still haven’t got rid of it,” she said, adding the bronze look will stay with her for some time.

Produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Limited, Luck is touted to be an action adventure flick, which promises to take the audience on a thrilling ride. The cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty, Ravi Kishan, Chitrashi and Danny Denzongpa. The film has been shot at some exotic locales in South Africa and has a lot of suspense and action.
