Raja critical of MPs visit to Sri Lanka

CPI today dubbed the delegation of MPs from Tamil Nadu visiting Sri Lanka as a Congress-DMK team and wondered the purpose of its mission.

Reacting to the visit, CPI leader and MP D Raja said the team was not not representative in character and political parties were not not consulted before its selection.

He wondered what was the purpose of the visit of the delegation to Sri Lanka where the government was "belligerent" in character and was not not interested in the Tamil population of the country.
