My journey has just started: Tamannah

image Tamannah may be ruling the roost in Tamil cinema. But the actress feels she has a long way to go. “I feel that I have just begun a journey in Kollywood. There are miles to go,” the Sindhi beauty says. “I want to act in films directed by Goutham Menon, Radha Mohan and Prabhu Deva. Also, there are many top actors with whom I want to share the screen space. I would like to prove myself an actress fit for any role,” she says.

Thanking Almighty for showering good luck on her, Tamannah says, “A combination of luck and hardwork fetched me success. Everybody works hard in the industry, but all are not going on to be successful. One needs some luck combined with dedication to scale great heights.”

“I am a self-confident person. I believe in myself,” the actress says and adds: “I would like to thank my producers, directors and co-stars for making 2009 a memorable year for me. They had helped me shape my career in a better way.”

Tamannah is eagerly awaiting the release of ‘Paiyya’ in which she pairs opposite Karthi. Directed by Lingusamy, the movie is ready to hiot the screens soon. “My character in ‘Paiyya’ is an interesting one. I have enough scope to perform.
