Indian High Commission to open office in Jaffna

The Indian High Commission to Sri Lanka will be opening its branch office in Jaffna 21st October and the Indian Foreign Secretary S. M. Krishna is expected to open the office, according to a press briefing to local media by Jaffna Government Agent (GA) Ms. Imelda Sukumar Saturday. She said that the Indian Foreign Secretary had officially informed about his visit. A section of the Indian High Commission to receive visa applications is already functioning in Jaffna town.

The branch office of the Indian High Commission is to be located in three buildings on the Main Road in Jaffna town.
