Vadivelu who disappeared without a trace post the state elections recently re-surfaced reprising his role as a comedian in Thyagarajan’s film ‘Mambattiyan’ which saw Prashanth playing the titular role. Now there are reports that the comedy actor will soon appear in a Dhanush film.
There is a buzz around the film circles in K-town that Dhanush has given his green signal to rope in Vadivelu in his upcoming project which will see Simbudevan calling the shots. It was Simbudevan whose comedy film ‘Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi’ that catapulted Vadivelu as a hero, albeit in a comical role. This film also had Vadivalu in twin roles.
Now there are reports that when Simbudevan revealed his desire to rope in Vadivelu for the comic interludes in his upcoming film with Dhanush playing the lead, the latter without thinking twice, gave his nod to the director.
Will this film too have a pivotal role for Vadivelu to perform which will put the comedian back on track? For that we will just have to wait and watch for the movie to hit theatres.
