Kamal Haasan has put an end to a longtime buzz- that he and his elder daughter Shruthi Haasan would share the screen space for a movie in the future. "We could not act together just for the sake of it. A good script has to fall in place," he says.
The Ulaganayagan, who is currently busy shaping up his magnum opus ‘Viswaroopam’, says further: "Shruti is now a star in her own right. Though she made her debut as music composer with my film (‘Unnaipol Oruvan’), her acting ventures are produced by other banners."
Expressing his wish to produce a film starring Shruti, Kamal adds: "Many ask whether my younger daughter Akshara too would don the greasepaint. At this point of time, she is interested at standing behind the camera. Even I started my career in tinsel town like this."
It is to be noted that Akshara has been assisting Kamal on the sets of ‘Viswaroopam’. One of members of the team said recently: "Akshara is helping Kamal in all aspects. Since Kamal is doing more than one roles besides directing the movie, Akshara is of great help to him."
