Meghna Raj of ‘Kadhal Solla Vandhen’ fame, who was roped in to play one of the heroines in Karthi’s forthcoming film with director Suraaj, has walked out of the project, saying she is not comfortable as there are four leading ladies.
"I was of the belief that there are only two heroines (she and Anushka). But the script was changed and as per the new alterations, there are four leading ladies in total. So I explained this to Suraj and opted out of the project," she says.
Thanking the director for understanding her point, the actress says, "I am not against multi-starrers. But I will do them only after I am satisfied with the script and my role in it. I am playing sole heroines in some promising movies."
Meanwhile, the yet-to-be-titled film with Karthi and Anushka in the lead is taking shape fast. A lengthy schedule of the movie was recently completed in dense forests of Kerala. It is expected to be a typical Suraaj movie with commercial elements.
