image Lakshmi Ramakrishna who is one of the most popular supporting artists in Tamil cinema will soon be making her directorial debut through ‘Arokanam’. This film produced by AVA Production and Monkey Creative Lab is nearing its completion.

"We started the movie only for film festivals. But later on it grew like a commercial movie. Now it can compete in film festivals and in the commercial race as well. Ours is a different yet a honest attempt. Tamil audiences never fail to recognize good movies for example Mounaguru. In the same way they will surely accept and celebrate Arokanam too", says a visibly excited Lakshmi.
"Kamal sir only inspired me to work hard like this in making screenplays. I learned this technique when I attended his screen writing workshop. For visuals concern Myyskin is the inspiration to me. I observed his working styles in his movies in which I was also a part. I simply followed his way and you can see that in Arokanam.
The film will throw light on mentally challenged and has music by K. Viresh and Jai Guheni will be debuting through this project as actors and the film has Sampath, Jayaprakash, Viji Chandrasekar, Uma Padmanaban,, Rajee and Vijayasarathy in pivotal roles.
