Pandiarajan, the old man

image Actor-director R Pandiarajan is playing a different role in ‘Vinmeengal’, a film directed by Vignesh Menon, grandson of legendary filmmaker K Sankar. The movie has Rahul Raveendran, Vishva and Shika in lead roles.

"I am playing an old man in this film. Director Vignesh Menon has offered me a different character and I should thank him for that. The film was shot in estate areas of Ooty. Many a time we had to safeguard ourselves from animals," he says.

Happy about the performance of his son and actor Prithvi in the Celebrity Cricket League matches, Pandiarajan says, "I feel so happy when I hear others appreciating my son. He was interested in cricket right from childhood."

Produced by Maanas Film Corporation, ‘Vinmeengal’ has music by Jubin. Lyrics are by Na Muthukumar, while cinematography by J Anand. "It is not a regular story. The audience will enjoy watching the film,’ Pandirajan says.
