Padmapriya’s drama

image All the world is a stage. Living up to this popular line is Padmapriya. The actress, who has always had a penchant for dramas, has now turned her focus on it. In association with like-minded persons, she will soon be part of stage dramas.

"I am basically a theatre artiste. However, after stepping into cinema, I did not get much opportunity to act in plays. The idea to be a part of dramas again cropped up while discussing with some like-minded people recently," she says.

Giving more details, Padmapriya says, "Malayalam actress Ann Augustine, director V K Prakash, writer Jayaprakah Kulur and I have planned to produce quality dramas and to take it to a wide range of audience. We are making some popular works into stage plays."

On the cinema front, Padmapriya is currently part of ‘Thangameengal’, a film directed by ‘Katradhu Thamizh’ fame Ram and produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon. The ‘Pokkisham’ girl is also acting in three Malayalam movies.
