“rattinam Reminds Me Of Vtv", Says Gautham Menon

image The audio launch of Rattinam was held at the Satyam Cinemas today. The event was graced by K Baghyaraj, Gautham Menon, Prabhu Solomon, Vivega and Cheran where Gautham Menon presented the audio CD to Cheran. The veteran director and actor K Baghyaraj said, “The actors have performed very well. They have not just acted, they have reacted.”

Gautham Menon praised, “Music is spectacular. When I watched the film, I felt it was live my Vinnaithandi Varuvaya, shot at the rural areas of Thuthukudi”. Lyricist Vivega and Prabhu Solomon too praised the efforts of the team and said that the music will create a new trend.

Cheran said, “The song ‘Asathum azhzgu, appadiya nilavu’ will be the most popular ringtones among the youth. The crew has done a terrific job.” Commenting on the film’s lead Laguvaran, the actor said, “I want to tell him that, he can address himself as director Cheran’s brother.”

The film has been directed by Thangasamy and features debutante Laguvaran and Swati in lead roles. Sundar Rajan has cranked the camera and Gopi Krishna has edited the film. Manu Ramesan has composed music.
