A vigil organized by Toronto’s Tamil community is expected to cause major traffic headaches in the downtown core on Monday afternoon.
At 1 p.m., members of the Tamil community will form a "human chain" along Front Street, Yonge Street, Bloor Street and University Avenue. A similar protest in January drew close to 45-thousand demonstrators, and more are expected at today’s event.
It’s expected to conclude at 6 p.m.
