A top UN official, on a four-day official visit to Sri Lanka, yesterday expressed satisfaction over the resettlement process in the country’s embattled north.
United Nations Under-Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs John Holmes visited relief camps in Vavuniya, Kadirgamar, Arunachulam and Ananada Coomaraswamy in the north to observe the ongoing resettlement and other development process conducted by the Sri Lanka government.
