Keeping up with the recent trend of Bollywood beauties fainting due to overwork and too much exposure to the limelight, South India beauty Asin, who has been giving nonstop interviews for her upcoming movie London Dreams, collapsed during a media event for the film at a club in Andheri. The actress was immediately rushed to hospital.
Asin later explained, “Actually, I hadn’t slept at all that day or the night before. I had been doing back-to-back interviews for London Dreams for the last one week with just 3-4 hours of sleep. On that day, there was no sleep or food at all. Anyway, I’m making up for the exhausting week with the most peaceful and happy birthday of my life.”
Even though the actress maintains that she is overworked, sources say it is her fixation to get thinner that has taken a toll on her health. In September 2009, Asin was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai following an acute sinus condition. It was then reported that she had been neglecting the condition for quite some time while working round-the-clock, shooting for London Dreams.
