India shows urgency in ‘ready-cash’ returns for ready abetment in genocide

The Indian parliamentary delegation’s statement in Colombo, differing nothing from what the Congress regime, its bureaucrats and intelligence officials say, but designed to come through the Opposition Leader, shows New Delhi’s urgency in getting ready-cash returns apart from showing how the multiparty parliament is manipulated by some forces to follow a particular line of thinking leading to the annihilation of the nation of Eezham Tamils, commented a new generation Tami politician in the island. The unity of the Congress, BJP and the CPI-M in this respect has to be carefully scrutinized by Tamil Nadu people and political parties in unity, in planning the composition of the next parliament and in extracting a genuine change in the thinking of the next government, he commented.

Eezham Tamil political activists in the island and in the diaspora should help a new process in their own polity as well as in the polity of Tamil Nadu by rising above siding between New Delhi and Washington that are only competing in the hoodwink, the politician further said.

Reading out a statement on Saturday in Colombo at the end of the Indian parliamentary delegation’s visit, India’s Leader of the Opposition and leader of the delegation, Sushma Swaraj said: “We are happy to note that our relations are moving ahead in a comprehensive manner […] As a close and friendly neighbour, we have strong stakes in the unity and territorial integrity of Sri Lanka […] We are committed to taking the relationship forward.”

It is this Indian assurance that guarantees all genocidal activities of the Sinhala state in Colombo.

Apart from the usual blah-blah on rehabilitation, resettlement, infrastructure development, reconciliation and lasting peace that was camouflaging New Delhi’s shopping and business with genocidal Colombo, the statement gains importance as it came out with policy delineations on three practical issues – all leading to the abetment of Colombo’s structural genocide and annihilation of the nation of Eezham Tamils.

The Sinhala state’s LLRC recommendations that conceive the erasing of territoriality of Eezham Tamils and pave way for the annihilation of their nation, is seen by the parliamentary delegation as addressing to ‘lasting peace and reconciliation’ in the island.

“It is important that these are pursued with a sense of urgency. This is the message we have conveyed to our Sri Lankan friends during the course of this visit,” Sushma’s statement said.

In tune with its ‘urgency’ the statement said nothing on the on-going Sinhala colonisation, Sinhalicisation and Buddhicisation in the country of Eezham Tamils.

Is there anything wrong in Eezham Tamils perceiving that they take place with the full blessing of the New Delhi Establishment, is a question of Tamil civil activists in the island.

Secondly, the delegation’s statement shows that India has taken the task of “promotion of a trilingual policy” in the island as its own agenda. Former president of India Abdul Kalam was sent to inaugurate the programme, which the LLRC recommendations have conceived as a tool for the completion of structural genocide by 2020.

Thirdly, the delegation’s statement showed urgency in prodding the TNA for talks with genocidal Colombo to confine all solutions within 13 Amendment–Plus that don’t need any changes in the constitution or structure of the Sinhala state.

“We have been assured in the past that this will be done within the framework of “Thirteenth Amendment – Plus”. We would urge the Government of Sri Lanka and other stakeholders, including the Tamil National Alliance, to resume dialogue and move towards an early political settlement. We would earnestly suggest urgent consultations to create conditions for launching of the Parliamentary Select Committee,” the delegation’s statement said.

The TNA has already responded meekly by parroting “13 Amendment–Plus,” when Sampanthan flew down to Jaffna on Wednesday in an SL Air Force flight to meet the delegation.

Interestingly, the only open challenge to the Indian delegation has come from the SL minister and EPDP leader, Douglas Devananda, who tried to cash and hijack the anger in the public against the New Delhi Establishment.

Devananda’s move, no doubt backed by SL military, to organize an agitation in front of Nalloor Kandasamy temple had its effect in making the Indian delegation to cancel its visit to the temple and in including another blah-blah in one of the paragraphs of the statement.

While posters welcoming the Indian delegation in Jaffna had the pictures of Mahinda Rajapaksa and Basil Rajapaksa, the SL military is directed by Gotabhaya Rajapaksa is known to everyone. What outside forces protect Gotabhaya, why they protect and how India’s competition with some outer region forces dooms solutions to the national question of Eezham Tamils for ages, are also known to keen political observers.

The Indian delegation stressed on the word ‘urgent’ twice in the statement. It also didn’t fail to stress twice that India is a ‘stakeholder’ in the affairs of Sri Lanka.

Readily abetting the Sinhala state’s war to end in genocide of Eezham Tamils, the New Delhi Establishment now seeks ‘ready cash’ returns from the deceitful client in Colombo, ignoring the ‘other forces’ at work and the state’s structural incapacity.

Understanding India’s ‘urgency’ genocidal Colombo has throttled the colonisation, Sinhalicisation and Buddhicisation process, so that before conceding to 13-plus the groundwork for the structural genocide will be complete.

Both the ‘urgencies’ of New Delhi and Colombo have once again found ‘strategic partnership’ about which the Congress-BJP-CPI (M) parliamentary delegation has expressed a note of satisfaction, when it said, “We are happy to note that our relations are moving ahead in a comprehensive manner.”

Rajapaksa regime has entered into certain ‘deals’ with the BJP, informed circles say.

In the meantime, Colombo diplomats give some importance to the delegation’s meeting with the UNP leader Ranil Wickramasinghe.

Mr. Wickramasinghe, in a recent meeting with civil society circles in Jaffna bragged that he alone could implement the 13th Amendment. Reportedly, going beyond it, was not ‘an art of the possible’, according to him.

Only the political vigilance of Tamils all over the world could meet this orchestration.

The DMK chief M. Karunanidhi has now realised the futility of his earlier stand. On Thursday, he proclaimed in favour of a referendum to decide the national cause of Eezham Tamils in lines with East Timor, Kosovo, Montenegro and South Sudan.

“A separate Tamil Eelam rings in the ears of Tamils living all over the world as a liberation song,” Times of India cited Mr. Karunanidhi.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Ms. Jayalalithaa harping on ‘equal citizenship’ and continued to be ambiguous may not be helpful for Tamil interests in the given context and in the forthcoming years, commented the new generation Tamil politician in the country of Eezham Tamils.
