Any international resolution on the island of Sri Lanka that doesn’t recognize and protect the nation of Eezham Tamils and its territoriality is not only useless to the affected people but also worse than the genocidal war waged against them by the International Community of Establishments. In a coordinated way, a concrete demand has to be globally made by Tamil politicians in the island, activists and public in the diaspora, and by political parties and masses in Tamil Nadu, addressed specifically at Washington and New Delhi to not hoodwink any more by deviating resolutions but to come out with meaningful international action to restore the country of Eezham Tamils to them.

The USA, the Establishments tagged behind it and India fail to internationally address the issue so far, as they failed in stopping the war that ended in genocide.
If the USA and India are going to only continue harping on the LLRC-based Geneva resolution and further ‘procedural’ enhancement of it in the coming Geneva session, Tamils all over the world should be vocal in all possible ways in the denouncement and edification of the move.
Last year, there was a section among Tamils that was lured to see the UNHRC resolution as a diplomatic victory. But in concept and orientation it was worse than the failed Indo-Lanka Accord.
They should now realize that how swiftly Colombo carried out the militarized colonisation after the resolution, aiming for the annihilation of the nation of Eezham Tamils, because the resolution failing to address the nation–territoriality issue, provided space, time and legitimacy for the agenda of the genocidal State.
It is not only the genocidal state that now creates new colonised divisions, seals off the coasts and brings in intimidating colonisers to the country of Eezham Tamils, but also the media in Colombo and their writers are now emboldened to openly say that let the Tamils get assimilated into Sinhalese and be “grateful to be Sinhalese.”
Tamils, whether Eezham Tamils or Tamils of Tamil Nadu origin or Tamil-speaking Muslims, may be living in various parts of the island. But only the assurance of Tamils having their territory and rule in their historical part of the island could guarantee an existence of self-respect to all the Tamil-speakers in the island.
The rhetoric of Reconciliation, Accountability, Rule of Law and Human Rights as parroted by the Canadian Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism may provide leverage to the Establishments over the island, but does not address the pressing question faced by Eezham Tamils as a nation.
The US team of officials who visited the island last week believes in issues being “hashed out” over time for a unified Sri Lanka and the USA getting the benefit of partnering the process endlessly.
Tamils in the island, in the diaspora and in Tamil Nadu are gagged in various ways, not only by the Establishments but also by their own leaders and activists in the captivity or lure of the Establishments.
If the TNA leadership in the island could go to the extent of not objecting Sinhala militarization of the country of Eezham Tamils, the Tamil activists in the diaspora bound by Groups, Foundations and Alerts, and by Chatham House rules, are not raising a finger or voice against the Establishments that allow the territorial genocide by not taking that up as an issue for international action.
The most immobilised and misdirected diaspora in this regard is in the USA. Of all the Eezham Tamil diaspora in the West, it is the diaspora in the USA that didn’t re-mandate the Vaddukkoaddai Resolution. The poorest voting in electing the TGTE representatives was also recorded only in the USA. No significant voice has so far come from the affluent diaspora in the USA, challenging the Establishment in Washington that was pivotal to the miseries of Eezham Tamils and is still failing in addressing the fundamentals.
Both the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Ms. Jayalalithaa and the DMK Chief Mr. M. Karunanidhi are committing a historic blunder in not making the right demands with New Delhi and in not mobilizing the public towards them. Ms. Jayalalithaa stopping with the war crimes investigation and the TESO led by Mr. Karunanidhi naively asking for the implementation of the LLRC-based UNHRC resolution are not going to bring back the country the Eezham Tamils lose day by day.
In a calculated way Tamil Nadu is deviated in caste wars, election preparations by political parties and by ‘Visvaroopam’ issues of personalities who could not take that Visvaroopam (rising up in universal dimensions) when genocide took a hundred thousand lives of Eezham Tamils. The pan-India profile artists of Tamil Nadu never took up the task of adequately telling the masses of India on the plight of Eezham Tamils, political observers in Tamil Nadu say.
The USA has considerable and long-established influence on the major political parties, media and elite of Tamil Nadu.

This has to be done before the USA in partnership with India materialises another international legitimisation at Geneva for the structural genocide and annihilation of the nation of Eezham Tamils in the island.
Washington and New Delhi have to be reminded to their faces that they destroyed the military balance of Eezham Tamils and now it is their responsibility to save the land of Eezham Tamils for them. If not, they could never expect the cooperation of Tamils in any time in future.
In the 2500 years of the written history of Tamil civilisation it should not go on record that Tamils in the 21st century did not know their real adversaries, did not address them appropriately and thus lost their country.
